MACHINERY CLEANING

Silicone Coating Removal 

Coatings such as inks, silicone or adhesives are no match for dry ice blasting. The substrate is left undamaged as the dry ice explodes back into a harmless gas (same CO2 we breath out) dislodging the contaminant. Coatings on the gears and deck guides causes poor alignment and results in low print quality and high scrap rates. Cleaning can reduce or in some cases eliminate low quality and high scrap rates.

Plastic Injection Mold

Contaminated molds can be cleaned either in or out of the press even when still hot. Burned on materials and residual plastics are cleaned off without altering the polish or textured finishes as dry ice is non-abrasive. The manufacturing of polyurethane foam products is also benefiting from a thorough quick cleaning as dry ice removes the waxes and residual release agents.

Machining Centers

Machining can get messy, with lubicants and dust constanly around, they are bound to collect dirt and grime in the nooks and crannies.

Fornunatley dry ice reaches into the corners as easily as the flats and clean off grease with ease.

Dry ice is non-abrasive and won't strip the paint off your equipment (unless the paint is failing and flaking). 

Hoses, wires and controls are unaffected by the pellets and clean up nicely.
